Our Vision is of a world where people everywhere are living and working in ways that ensure a bright future.

Our Mission is to be the global program that connects people and organisations everywhere with each other, with information and with products and services to support and inspire them to make simple changes in their homes, workplaces and communities that will help create an economically, socially and environmentally sustainable future.

The Program

The daysofchange.org program takes a simple approach of connecting people to support each other's lifestyle changes through its innovative social networking website. The program works by reaching people on a scale that has never been seen before with a program of this type, providing a forum in which people can make public commitments to reduce their ecological footprint, and then supporting them in fulfilling their commitments.

Spreading the Message_optReaching the People

daysofchange.org has a unique approach to maximising participation.

Our Ambassadors - people from the community who have the passion to make a difference - use our social networking website to engage others in the program.

So people may receive an invitation to participate from a friend, a family member, a work colleague, a teacher, or even while shopping.

This has been supported by digital marketing, online social media and marketing through our major media partners, Channel 7 and The West Australian, to achieve the goal of engaging 200,000 West Australians in 2010, representing 10% of the state's population.

A range of Pledge Cards specify 30 possible actions that people can take in their homes, schools and workplaces to reduce their impact on the planet. Participants select actions from these cards and make a pledge online to complete them.

Possible actions are grouped according to level of commitment. Details of the annual savings in water, electricity, fuel, waste and money, as well as other benefits, are provided for each action.

There are Pledge Cards for households, individuals, organisations and schools.
